Senior Iranian Sunni cleric denounced the domination system, which sows disagreement among Muslims to uproot the fraternity in the world of Islam.
Mamousta Seyyed Mostafa Khatami, prayer leader of Oshnaviyeh in his speech addressing the webinar on the second day of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference on exploring and unveiling the methods of domination system which has aimed to destroy the Islamic brotherhood and promotion of terrorism, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He hailed Islam as an eternal guideline for human life setting coexistence as a factor and symbol of well-being.
He noted that the concern of the domination system over fraternal ties in the world of Islam and denounced its constant effort to use all kinds of tricks and attacks to create division, discord and tension between Islamic nations.
“Through numerous and varied methods such as creating religious, sectorial, ethnic, geographical, cultural, economic and social differences, they have been pursuing to uproot Islamic brotherhood” said the prayer leader of Oshnaviyeh.
Mamousta Seyyed Mostafa Khatami counted distortion of scriptures, especially the Torah and the Bible, inciting religious differences weakening the monotheists and creating discord as the strategies through which the domination system casts its evil shadow over the Islamic world.
The domination system is so terrified of the unity and coexistence of Islamic societies that it does not put aside, for a moment, it’s planning and engineering to destroy those societies.
According to the Sunni scholar the most effective methods and strategies to fight against the system of domination are solidarity and adherence to the instructions of human life, namely the Holy Quran.

Led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled to hold the 35th Islamic Unity Conference on October 19-24, 2021 as more than 500 Muslim intellectuals, thinkers and religious experts will discuss their views on the latest issues in the world of Islam in 24 webinars.
The theme for 35th Islamic Unity Conference is "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam" as participants discuss the latest situation in the world of Islam. Two meetings will particularly detail the views on the issue of Palestine and late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, the late advisor of Supreme Leader and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
