Just war and just peace

Abstract:

Man as a creature of God is composed of two aspects of spirituality and nature. To study the necessities of human life for perfection, just war and just peace in the dimension of human nature finds meaning and concept. The main question is: what is just war and peace according to Nahj al-Balaghah? The proposed hypothesis is that in Nahj al-Balaghah, war and peace are aimed at paving the way for human growth, education, freedom and security. The research method is based on research process. The result of the research is that the purpose of war and peace in Nahj al-Balaghah is to establish justice between the two material and spiritual dimensions of man to achieve perfection.
