Fundamentals and theoretical framework of the “unified Islamic Ummah” and explanation of its territory, components, structure, and fundamental values and its relationship with the “new Islamic civilization”

Abstract:

The present article tries to remind the importance of the issue of a unified Ummah while analyzing the different dimensions of this concept, the view of the religion of Islam towards the category of the Ummah and the need for its unity and integrity.

It will also refer to the guidelines of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic and Ahl al-Bayt traditions in emphasizing the unity of Muslims and avoiding sedition and division in order to achieve a unified Ummah.

Then, the situation of the Islamic Ummah in the current era and the practical requirements for moving towards a unified Ummah will be reviewed.

Then, the category of modern Islamic civilization, its theoretical background and its relationship with the contemporary Islamic awakening movement in Islamic countries will be discussed.
In this study, we will also refer to the role of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in strengthening the Islamic awakening and the increasing emphasis of the revolutionary leaders on the formation of a unified Ummah and a new Islamic civilization.
