Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, said in a press conference at the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference in response to a reporter about the role of Islamic resistance about global arrogance and Zionism: “We must establish the Union of Islamic Countries! One of its key pillars is the establishment of resistance troops throughout Islamic countries.”

Dr. Shahriari stated: “The experience of Syria and Iraq has shown that global arrogance usually tries to establish its intentions and goals in Islamic countries by using violent methods and war and terror.”
He continued: “Fortunately, we saw that the Islamic Resistance in Syria stood up to a group of arrogant leaders, and today we are witnessing the destruction of ISIS, both in Syria and in Iraq, so that both regions are disappointed. And today their remnants are operating in other areas, and what has happened in Afghanistan and Kunduz is infamous under this takfiri group.”
In the end, the Secretary General of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed his hope that the remnants of ISIS would be wiped out by the rulers of the Islamic lands as soon as possible.”
