Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Muhammad Hojjati: “The Friday Imam of Kermanshah, in an interview with the reporter of the Provinces of Taqrib News Agency on the eve of Unity Week, said: “The birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a source of goodness and blessing for all worlds and today should be considered a source of unity for the Islamic world and humanity.”
The Friday Imam of Kermanshah said: “The main mission of the Prophet was to create faith in God among the people and unity among the religious brothers; The Holy Prophet (PBUH) always spent his precious life in the path of unity, so the divisions in the religion of Islam are contrary to what the Holy Prophet (PBUH) followed.”
This Kermanshahi scholar considered the departure from unity as a result of lack of religious insight and emphasized: “If we see that many sects are born in a religion like Islam, this problem should be considered the result of Muslims’ lack of deep view of religious knowledge.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Hojjati, pointing out that all Muslims are under one flag, added: “Those who seek to create new sects and cults in Islam are not in the form of Sunnis and Shiites, but these are the remnants of the Kharijites and hypocrites during the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).”
He noted: “Fortunately, we are witnessing a very good unity and brotherhood between the religious brothers in this province, and this has caused the anti-religious sects to never be able to survive in this region of Islamic Iran.”
The Friday Imam of Kermanshah stated: “In order to create more harmony and proximity between Islamic denominations, we need a permanent, continuous and strong connection between Sunni and Shiite religious seminaries.”
