Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Eshkevari in an Interview with TNA: The Enemies do not Like the Compassion of Muslims towards Each Other / Palestine is a Symbol of Struggle against Oppression and Aggression
Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Seyyed Ali Hosseini Eshkevari, the representative of the people of Gilan province in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency, said about the effect of the International Islamic Unity Conference in the integration of Muslims: “One of the valuable initiatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been the establishment of Unity Week by the order of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA). In this week, the sedition and ignorance that exists among the Islamic societies and is fueled by the enemies and the ignorant is dealt with, which is a very important and valuable issue.
He added: “Most of the opposition to holding the Islamic Unity Conference and Unity Week is from those who do not want to see the friendship and interest of Muslims in each other. There is a separation of Muslims from each other because Muslims cannot take care of each other’s issues and problems closely, and this is the cause of the happiness of the enemies; It should be said that today the issue of Lebanon, Yemen, Afghanistan, etc. is one of the most important issues in the Islamic world, and it is very important that Muslims gather around one axis and try to solve problems.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Eshkevari stated: “Today, due to the developments and problems that have occurred in the Islamic world, World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has an additional responsibility compared to previous years, and we must thank those involved in the conference that hold this valuable conference in such circumstances.”
In the end, referring to the issue of Palestine, he said: “Palestine is considered as one of the symbols of defending the oppressed in the Islamic society, but we must know that it is not only Palestine that has been oppressed and countries such as Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan etc., they are also considered among this group of the oppressed; In fact, Palestine is a symbol of the struggle against oppression and aggression, and all Muslims have a duty to inspire them to defend the rights of the oppressed.”
