Molavi Shams o Al Haq Damani delivered his speech on the Holy Prophet’s life and the noble Imams and the Companions that tried to avoid divisions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
“The fundamental principle of Islam is to worship God together and follow the axis of unity, the Holy Qur'an and if all Muslims follow the Qur'an, there will be no more issues” he said.
He referred to all the scholars that used the knowledge of others in their own research and books and said “This is the correct Islamic model which means we have to live like our scholars did and despite the differences in opinions, we can use each other's knowledge, each other's research, and each other's efforts.”
“It is up to us to carefully study their way of life and avoid any insults, mocking and humiliating our Muslim brothers and follow the path depicted to us by God, the Quran and the Prophet of God” he concluded.
36th International Islamic Unity Conference officially has begun from October 9 - 11 with Muslim elites and intellectuals from across the globe discussing “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the Islamic World, Exclusive solutions and operational measures.”
