According to the provincial correspondent of Taqrib News Agency, Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyed Mehdi Qureishi said today in the coordination meeting of the programs of Unity Week: “Undoubtedly, Unity Week and the birthday of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is a good opportunity to pay attention to religious commonalities in the country and the province.”
He added: “Fortunately, with the efforts of the ulema and officials of the province, the unity between Shiites and Sunnis in the province must be strengthened.”
The representative of the Supreme Leader in West Azerbaijan and the Friday Imam of Urmia emphasized: “Undoubtedly, managers who do not believe in unity and Proximity policies should not be included in the management.”
He pointed out: “All officials and managers should pay serious attention to the issue of unity at the top of their work, and on the other hand, the programs of Unity Week should be held with glory and in the honor of the Holy Prophet of Islam.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Qureishi stated: “With the provincial coordination, good measures can be taken in this week regarding the forgiveness of prisoners of unintentional crimes.”
In continuation, the head of the office of the Islamic Center of West Azerbaijan Province said in this meeting: “33 programs have been considered for the Unity Week by the office of the Islamic Center of the province.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Fa’al Azar added: “Also, the celebrations of the Unity Week and the decoration of mosques and passages should be done with special glory.”
The commander of the West Azerbaijan Martyrs Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also pointed to the importance of unity in the province and said: “The importance of unity in the province of West Azerbaijan is much more important than other provinces and the convergence of ethnicities and denominations in the province is necessary.”
Sardar Habib Shahsavari stated: “The programs of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the province will be held regularly and magnificently in all cities.”
