Mamousta Raouf Omari, in an interview with the reporter of the Provinces of Taqrib News Agency, said: “Undoubtedly, Muslims should not attack each other’s Islamic sanctities, and even God the Almighty addressed the Prophet (PBUH) in the Holy Qur’an that if one of the polytheists wants to be your neighbor, you must be a good neighbor to him so that he will listen to the word of God.”
He added: “When God the Almighty has even ordered us to protect our polytheistic neighbor, then we should support them at all times, and on the other hand, if there is a problem for a Muslim, everyone should help him and express sympathy.”
The Friday Imam of Piranshahr said: “The Prophet (PBUH) also said that a Muslim is someone that other people are not harassed by his hand and tongue, and if there is a problem for Muslims, the followers of Islamic denominations should help each other.”
He said: “The Holy Qur’an even commands that the sanctities of the infidels should not be insulted, because in that case, they will retaliate and attack the Islamic sanctities, as if we are attacking our own sanctities.”
Mamousta Omari pointed out that Muslims have no problem with each other in the principles of religion: “They have differences with each other in some areas, so we should focus more on principles and commonalities and minor differences are insignificant because differences do not cause problems and in the Early Islam, despite these differences, Muslims lived well and happily together.”
Pointing out that the Messenger of God (PBUH) was the Prophet of Mercy, he said: “God said in the Holy Qur’an that the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) was a model of goodness and he treated people who were strict in religion with kindness and this is what the Prophet (PBUH) caused over the years, many people around the world have become Muslims.”
The Friday Imam of Piranshahr added: “The Prophet (PBUH) treated everyone with tenderness and kindness, because he should guide those who have harsh morals or disrespect each other’s sanctities, and leave them if the gentle treatment did not work.”
