According to ISNA, the Cultural Deputy of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said: “One of the programs of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference is to hold a photo contest as a side program in the field of public culture to spread the concepts of proximity and Islamic unity. The target community of this program is the general audience, enthusiasts and artists from all over the Islamic world.”
He added: “One of the other programs of the Cultural Deputy of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is to hold a series of dialogue-based sessions in order to scientifically explain the topics of the conference entitled “Compassionate Ummah” which has been held with the presence of seminary and university professors. These meetings are a great opportunity for us in the scientific community of the country to study and critique the proximity concepts, topics and axes of the conference between academic and seminary experts, and to make good use of the valuable capacity that exists in our universities and seminaries.”
Iraji stated: “Hujjat-ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin Dr. Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, has compiled a work entitled “The Conceptual Model of the Unified Ummah and the Union of Islamic Countries” from which most of the conference topics and axes have been extracted. It will be reviewed and, after correction and completion, will be the basis of the activities and roadmap of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in its new period.”
The Cultural Deputy of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought continued: “Another program that we have proposed to the headquarters of the Unity Conference is to hold a photo contest of Unity, as a side program in the field of public culture to spread the concepts of proximity and Islamic unity; The target community of this contest is all the Muslims of the world and those who are interested in Islamic unity and artists, and it must be said that we are fully prepared to hold this contest and we are waiting for the approval process to begin and take the necessary measures.”
Iraji, stating that these programs will be a prelude to holding a regular cultural and artistic festival of Islamic Unity, said: “Accompanying and cooperating with other specialized institutions, we will hold this festival as a valid badge next to the Unity Conference.”
He stated: “Among the other programs of the Cultural Deputy of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for the Unity Conference, is launching and strengthening the cyberspace and social networks of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought to spread the concepts of the Unity Conference; At present, as an active cultural institution in the Islamic world, we urgently need to interact with the audience; Therefore, the best means that can be used in this field are the virtual network platforms. We use seven platforms for the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference and have created the official pages of the conference in: Aparat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube and Telegram and interested people can access these pages by searching “iuc.taqrib” or visiting the conference website.
Iraji said: “Another program of the Cultural Deputy of the World Assembly for the Proximity of Islamic Religions is to try to launch interactive television (iptv) in order to create a comprehensive platform for the presentation of proximity content and concepts and to establish interactive communication with the audience of the Islamic world. Managing the conference website is also one of the tasks of this section. The website of the Islamic Unity Conference with the address “https://iuc.taqrib.ir” was established last year and has been gradually completed, and in this period, suggestions have been presented so that we can create a suitable communication platform for our audience.
He added: “Another program that we are pursuing is holding a webinar on the subject “Examining the Importance and Position of the Concept of the Unified Islamic Ummah from the Perspective of the Holy Qur’an”; This webinar will be held with the presence of professors of Qur’anic sciences inside and outside the country, and as soon as it is finalized, we will announce the information related to it; We should know that everything we have in the Islamic world is from the Holy Qur’an; The Qur’an is our rope and our common beliefs and Muslim foundation in the Islamic world are derived from it. Therefore, the Holy Qur’an is an eternal source that we can use, and it depends on our art how much we can benefit from the concepts of the Qur’an.”
Iraji added: “What we want in this year’s Unity Conference, especially in the current situation, is to use the existing scientific capacities in the field and the university and make maximum use of new technological contexts to cultivate and promote proximity concepts, and we have no choice but to talk and communicate with our audience using new technologies.”
In the end, the Cultural Deputy of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said: “A feature of the programs of the Cultural Deputy for this year’s conference is that it mainly focuses on reviewing and explaining the conceptual model set out by the Secretary-General and the future activities of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought to carry out its tasks and missions will be based on it.”
