“Sayyid Adnan Al-Janin” the Yemeni Islamic Scholar said to Taqrib News Agency about the issue of Unity:
“Islamic unity and solidarity among Muslims make other nations consider us as a peaceful Ummah in which people are at peace with each other, and this is our authority against our enemies.”
Stating that peace is the source of our religion and our Prophet is a mercy for all people of the world, he said: “Islamic unity eliminates the divisive factors that have been placed among us by the enemies.”
This Islamic thinker described the creation of peace among the Islamic Ummah as a factor in creating an opportunity for a comprehensive construction in the fields of knowledge, economy, politics, military, social and security, and added: “This is what the Islamic Ummah must focus on, in order to face its enemies.”
He pointed to verse 103 of Surah Al-e Imran, in which Allah the Almighty says:
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا
And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, thus does Allah make clear to you His communications that you may follow the right way.
And emphasized: “Islamic unity creates a power among Muslims that the enemies of God and the enemies of Muslims are worried about.”
“Sayyid Adnan al-Janin” called the unity and power of Muslims the cause of the wrath of the infidels who always try to divide the Islamic Ummah by any means and said: “Islamic unity causes that Muslims retrieve the greatness they enjoyed in the time of the holy Prophet (PBUH) and it was quite obvious in the letters of the Prophet (PBUH) to the kings of different countries and the battles of Mutah and Tabuk.
He stressed the importance of holding Islamic unity conferences, saying that the alliance takes the opportunity to control the wealth and governments of Muslims from their enemies, adding: “These conferences carry the message to the enemies that there are many common issues for the unity of Muslims and Islamic countries.”
This Muslim thinker described the presence of Islamic countries in the Unity Conference as an opportunity to exchange views on common issues, to examine the do’s and don’ts of the Islamic Ummah, and to eliminate the divisions created among Muslim nations.
At the end of his speech, he described the gathering of the elites of the Islamic world in the Islamic Unity Conference as strengthening the spirit of unity and brotherhood among them and an opportunity to formulate general and detailed programs in order to create Islamic convergence.
