The founder and president of Cheshti Foundation from Pakistan warned world Muslims of difficult days ahead if they do not unite on international borders and social and political spheres.
Addressing the webinar on the fifth day of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference held by Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Sheikh Muhammad Akbar Shah Qaderi Cheshti warned Muslims of the present dangerous stage stressing the dire need of Muslim world for unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He expressed regret over the "tragedy that Muslims still need to talk about unity" after centuries stressing that the world of Islam is in desperate need of solidarity.
Pakistani cleric noted," If we do not unite on the basis of monotheism and do not live like Muslims, we will have a dangerous future ahead of us" and warned of the day that Muslims would live under the domination of others like slave if they do not unite.
He counted love and affection as part of faith urging Muslims to put aside hatred.
"First of all, without any suffixes and prefixes, we should only be Muslims" he said and added," Then we must use the text of the Qur'an as the basis and referent and also we must gather together in the light of the love of the Ahlul Bayt (AS)."
We must unite on International borders, in the political and social spheres, otherwise we will have difficult days ahead.

The theme for 35th Islamic Unity Conference is "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam" as participants discuss the latest situation in the world of Islam. Two meetings will particularly detail the views on the issue of Palestine and late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, the late advisor of Supreme Leader and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
Led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled to hold the 35th Islamic Unity Conference on October 19-24, 2021 as more than 500 Muslim intellectuals, thinkers and religious experts will discuss their views on the latest issues in the world of Islam in 24 webinars.
