35th International Islamic Unity Conference

The Celebration of Unity Was Organized by The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei

At the initiative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei, for the first time, “Unity Celebration” to mark the beginning of Islamic Unity Week and the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet of Islam was held online on October 9, 2021, with the presence of a group of foreign ambassadors of Islamic countries living abroad, professors and people.
In this celebration, Homeira Rigi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei, while emphasizing the importance of the two issues of the Holy Quran and the Prophet as the axis of unity of Islamic Denominations, the International Islamic Unity Conference as an initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran introduced in the direction of the unity of the Islamic Ummah.
The celebration was accompanied by native songs in Malay and Persian, which was welcomed by the participants.
The speech of the Grand Mufti of Brunei at the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference was also broadcasted at the ceremony.
The Grand Mufti of Brunei Darul Salam has addressed the International Islamic Unity Conference for the past three consecutive years. It is worth mentioning that the Grand Mufti of Brunei is the most important religious figure in this country.
