In Razavi Khorasan Province, Mawlavi Mohammad Ibrahim Barakzai, Chairman of the Council of Scholars of East Kabul, Afghanistan, and a guest of the 40th International Conference on Islamic Unity, took part in a number of programs held during Unity Week.
On 3 Shahrivar 1405, he delivered an address to a gathering of Shia and Sunni scholars at the meeting held in Taybad’s Akhavan Hall on the occasion of Unity Week.
In his remarks, Mawlavi Barakzai congratulated the audience on the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), emphasizing the importance of preserving harmony and cohesion within the Muslim Ummah. He described the participation of scholars from different Islamic schools of thought in such gatherings as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims.
He also delivered an address at a gathering marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), held near the mausoleum of Sheikh al-Islam Ahmad Jami in Torbat-e Jam.
At the gathering, Mawlavi Barakzai emphasized the importance of focusing on the common ground shared by Muslims, setting aside sectarian differences, and working to strengthen unity among Muslims. He stressed that sectarian and ethnic differences should not divert Muslims from the path of unity and mutual understanding.
On 4 Shahrivar 1405, he also addressed the “From Islamic Unity to Global Victory” Awareness Session, held at the Islamic Center of Razavi Khorasan in Mashhad.
As part of his visit to Razavi Khorasan Province, Mawlavi Mohammad Ibrahim Barakzai also visited the Siddiqieh Religious Seminary in Torbat-e Jam.
