Ummah in Dire Need of Exerting Justice, Standing against Western Imperialism: Turkish Scholar

Mohyeddin Yildirim, Islamic activist from Turkiye attending the webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference said at present, all the organs of the Islamic Ummah are wounded. In order to cure and treat these wounds, we should take into consideration important principles, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

"In our body, there are some organs that might be wounded. Al Quds, Al Aqsa Mosque are the chest and Kaaba is the heart of Ummah. Our right hand is Asia and our left hand is Africa. At present time, all our organs are wounded. In order to cure and treat these wounds, we should take into consideration important principles" he said.
The Turkish scholar stressed that the first important principle is justice. "Justice in Islamic countries is like soul in the body. When there is no justice, there is no confidence. So, today all Islamic communities need justice.", he added.

Yildirim went on to say: "There are countries like Iran and Turkey which help deprived countries. They send food aid to these countries, especially during natural disasters such as earthquakes. But we should firstly give them spiritual aid which bring justice also".
He noted that at present, the Muslim nations are colonized seriously, because Imperialism and Zionism have created close relations with the leaders of some Islamic societies and have colonialized their countries.

He concluded: "The Islamic Ummah must be freed from imperialism and for this reason unity is a presumption".

Held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Muslim scholars and religious figures from across the globe exchanged views on the issues challenging the world of Islam in the 37th Islamic Unity Conference (IUC). Participants also discussed the theme of this meeting “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is the climax of the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
