Cleric calls on Muslims to avoid efforts to make Islam Zionist

The President of Algeria's High Islamic Council warned of movements which struggle to build relation between Islamic countries and the Zionist regime of Israel.
Bu Abdullah Al-Ghulam Allah, Algerian thinker attending the opening ceremony of 35th Islamic Unity Conference noted that the biggest threat for Muslim nations is the racist Zionist ideology dominating the Christian society, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raeisi, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, leader of Palestine's Islamic Jihad Ziad Nakhalah were among participants at the opening ceremony which was held with limited number of guests due to COVID-19 circumstances.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the 35th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference for October 19-24 ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) also known as the Islamic Unity Week.
Over 500 Muslim scholars, intellectuals and religious figures are attending the 35th edition of Islamic Unity Conference which is held virtually due to COVID-19 circumstances. World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has decided to hold the 35th event on the theme of “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam.”
