Book on late Ayatollah Taskhiri unveiled

The book on the life and works by leading proximity figure, late Ayatollah Taskhiri was unveiled by at the opening ceremony of the 35th International Islamic Unity Week held on Tuesday morning.
“Mawsuea (encyclopedia) of Ayatollah Taskhiri” is the name of the prominent Islamic unity figure and former advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs unveiled by Iran's President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi and Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought as the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference inaugurated in Tehran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Published by the research center of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, the book is a compilation of works and researches by the late scholar Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri in 12 volumes.
Ayatollah Mohamad Ali Taskhiri was the advisor of the Supreme Leader and former secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Though.
Popular for his moderate views and promotion of solidarity among Islamic denominations, the cleric has also been esteemed for his scholarly researchers and Islamic studies.
Besides the axes announced to be discussed at the webinars and meetings in this event, two separate panels will discuss the issue of Palestine and late Ayatollah Taskhiri.
The unveiling ceremony was held at the opening of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference which is underway mainly in online meetings on October 19-24 due to the circumstance caused by COVID-19.
Over 500 Muslim scholars, intellectuals and religious figures are attending the 35th edition of Islamic Unity Conference which is held virtually due to COVID-19 circumstances. World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has decided to hold the 35th event on the theme of “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam.”
